What?
Less than an hour for a 10K race that manages to run in the tax-free heaven, along (possibly) every single road of the Principauté de Monaco. The main event of the day is actually the Marathon de Monaco et des Riviera, the 10K is for the the lazy ones.

Where?
The 10K is the only race entirely run in the tiny (and hilly) country of Monaco. The marathon crosses no fewer that three countries, a seaside run with too many (virtual) border crossings.

When?
Usually late in March.

Why?
The start line is in boulevard Albert I (as for the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix) and the end is in the amazing Stade Louis II: great food, great support at the end of the race and a nice Asics t-shirt as well. Up and down the narrow streets of Montecarlo, this is not the race for your personal best but Côte d'Azur in spring is great and worth every single euro. If you are going for the longer race, you can enjoy a very different windy experience along the sea – but not much of Monaco – and with the unique opportunity to traverse the borders of Italy, Monaco and France. As for all the official races in France, in Montecarlo you have to present a medical certificate (or a FFA licence) to pick up your race number.
