What?
An half marathon (ABN AMRO Half Marathon), a 10 km (Dunea 10 km Run) and a 5 km (West 5K Run) are the major events of the Fortis City-Pier-City Run in The Hague. All the events are suitable to the experienced and unprofessional runners.
Where?
From the city of The Hague, the largest city in the Netherlands after Amsterdam and Rotterdam, to the beach on the North Sea and back. The start and finish are in one central place.
When?
The second weekend of March. The 2012 edition of the CPC Run The Hague will be held on Sunday March 11th.
Why?
Enjoy Scheveningen, a beach resort on the North Sea and a popular destination for tourists, do a bit of sightseeing in the old The Hague and eat an amazing pannenkoeken (pancake). Add the chance to take a train and spend a few hours in Amsterdam, run one the biggest running events in the Netherlands (almost 12K runners) and improve your PB: the CPC Run The Hague has one of the fastest half marathon course in the world (Samuel Wanjiru: 58.33)
