What?
Over 5K runners from around Europe join every May the Prague Volkswagen Marathon.
Where?
Start and finish are in Old Town Square, in front of the famous astronomical clock, in the city centre of Prague, crossing a few bridges and enjoying Wenseslas Square and Prague Castle.
When?
The Prague International Marathon takes place in May.
Why?
Prague is one of the very few races where the number of international runners exceed the locals, runners who enjoy one of the fastest and most beautiful course in the world along scenic streets of the medieval city. If you like live music, there will be more than 20 bands along the course and you will even have time to stop for a few songs, with a generous race time limit of 7 hours. If you prefer a shorter distance, the Prague Half Marathon is held early in April.
