What?
The Stockholm Midnight Run (Midnattsloppet in Swedish) is a 10K night run in Sweden's capital. Over 20K runners are expected for the summer race.

Where?
A great 10K course around Södermalm, the trendy island in the southern inner city of Stockholm, with easy slopes and the uphill towards Sofia Church.

When?
The Midnight Run takes place in August.

Why?
Probably less known than the Lidingöloppet (www.lidingoloppet.se) and the Stockholm Marathon (www.stockholmmarathon.se), the midnight run is a great opportunity to mix a summer break in Stockholm with a peculiar night race. Enjoy a late start time and a unique atmosphere, with the special Hammarby spirit and thousands of Stockholmers on the sidewalks to cheer. Midnattsloppet is a party more than a race for a personal best: in Zinkensdamm arena you will enjoy plenty of live samba music and possibly a drink in the trendy Medborgarplatsen after the finish. If you have no chance to be in Stockholm next August, you can join one of the two sister races: the Midnight Run
Helsinki (beginning of September) and the Midnattsloppet in Gothenburg (end of August).
