Where?
In São Paulo downtown, by the main streets of the cosmopolitan city. The race starts at Av. Paulista and it takes you to Praça da República and Memorial da América Latina, finishing back at the Fundação Cásper Líbero building.
When?
On the afternoon of the last day of the year, at Av. Paulista – MASP metro station. Forget the white and cold European climate and expect in Sampa a very hot and humid run.
Why?
It is a chance for people to join a brilliant race and travel around Brazil for the New Year's break, in the heat of the Brazilian summer. The race was an idea of Cásper Líbero, a famous journalist and founder of A Gazeta who developed the main entertainment activities in the city since 1920. The race will start and end by Cásper’s editorial office and after the struggle you will be able to enjoy the best Brazilian bands for a great introduction to the new year.
