Flavia Grohmann is a runner from Brazil. She completed her first 5K race back in 2003 along São Paulo’s large streets and never stopped since that. She just started to explore international races as well and finished the Lago Maggiore half marathon in Italy, where she was amazed with the beauty of the place.
What has been your favorite race/run so far?
It is so hard to choose, each one is so unique! Uhm, I would than split my choices according to important points for me:
Beauty: Lago Maggiore – Italy and Rio de Janeiro Half Marathon – Brazil
Tradition: São Silvestre – Brazil
Organization and Staff: Corpore Horto Florestal – Brazil
Welcoming: Volta da Pampulha – Brazil.
What race would you like to run?
Top three: New York half marathon, Paris half marathon and Gold Coast half marathon.
City road or remote trail?
Remote trail is my favorite but also touring through an unknown city while doing the race, is fun!
Crowded major events or quiet local ones?
Uhm, I like them both, but I usually attempt to major events, once the marketing reaches me and I can plan to it. I also like to go running with friends, so major events are better in such situations once I can find more people interested on it.
One more reason to go running?
To bring me back to myself once again.
