What?
Starting at the coast and traversing trails through bucolic pastures and Old English villages, the Seaford Half Marathon is a well-organized and scenic 13.1 mile (21K) race.

Where?
The race starts and finishes in the Southern England coastal town of Seaford, which is about a half-hour east of Brighton in Sussex. The course covers a region known as the South Downs and cuts through the quaint village of Alfriston.

Why?
The location makes it a great destination race for anyone who wants to enjoy the seaside scene of Brighton but then escape to a more peaceful, rural slice of England a half-hour away. The course is hilly and on trails but not too steep or technical. The final mile, which descends from the hills to the coast, offers a gorgeous view of the chalk-white cliffs.
