The 46th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon has crowned its champions in both individual and team categories in the TEAM UP! Europe challenge. The competition was fierce, culminating in thrilling victories that have left a lasting impression on all who witnessed it.
Team POLAND II emerged victorious in the professional team competition, achieving an impressive combined time of 04:43:57 over the marathon distance. The individual winners showcased exceptional talent and determination, with Olha Nyzhnyk claiming the women’s title in a remarkable time of 02:31:24, while Levente Szemerei from Hungary set a new Hungarian marathon record of 02:10:43 to secure the men’s victory.
Among the Polish competitors, Mateusz Kaczor and Izabela Paszkiewicz delivered outstanding performances, finishing as the top male and female Polish runners, respectively. Kaczor crossed the finish line in 02:11:15, securing second place, while Paszkiewicz clocked a time of 02:32:42 to also claim the runner-up spot in the women’s category.
In the TEAM UP! Europe challenge standings, POLAND II emerged as the triumphant team, followed by UKRAINE I and UKRAINE II in second and third place, respectively. The overall results for the men’s and women’s categories showcased the remarkable talent and determination of the participants from various countries, with Szemerei, Nyzhnyk, and Nemchenko among the standout performers.
