Matt Parsons, 45, is gearing up to cycle from Somerset to Lyon, France, covering a distance of 569 miles, and then running a marathon to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. His wife, Jess Parsons, 38, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer in 2022, leading the couple, along with their friends and family, to already raise over £21,000 for the charity.
