Nike has expanded its After Dark Tour by adding a new race to the 2025 lineup in London. This reimagined 10K event, set for November 23, promises to be a thrilling experience for women runners seeking to push their limits and redefine their boundaries.
The After Dark Tour, a global race series, is a testament to Nike’s commitment to empowering women runners and fostering a sense of community and self-expression. The tour features 10Ks and half marathons in major cities like Sydney, Shanghai, Seoul, Mumbai, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and now London.
Ahead of the tour’s kickoff, Nike unveiled innovative products tailored for women, including a sweatproof reflective necklace and a redesigned race medal. The necklace, created by a predominantly female team, incorporates advanced materials and a unique design that seamlessly transitions from race day to daily wear.
Moreover, Nike has partnered with Hyperice to provide post-race recovery zones at each event, offering runners top-notch technology for optimal recovery benefits. The brand’s commitment to enhancing the running experience extends to the virtual realm, with the Nike Run Club app hosting a virtual race series aligned with the After Dark Tour events.
For over five decades, Nike has been a driving force in the running world, pioneering opportunities for women and inspiring runners of all levels. The 2025 After Dark Tour epitomizes Nike’s mission to engage more women in sport, creating a platform for female athletes to connect, express themselves, and embrace challenges.
The tour is more than a series of races; it represents a fusion of nightlife, running, community, culture, and style, offering participants an immersive experience that goes beyond mere competition. Each race weekend includes diverse activities, from product showcases to expert coaching, race preparation services, recovery zones, and celebratory post-race events.
Nike’s Vice President of Global Women’s Running and Training, Seema Simmons, emphasizes the tour’s goal of empowering women through a supportive and inclusive community. The After Dark Tour aims to help women discover their inner strength and the collective energy that comes from shared experiences.
Participants can access official training plans through the Nike Run Club App, guided by Nike Run Coach Diljeet Taylor. These plans, spanning six to twelve weeks, are designed to build endurance and confidence for runners tackling 10Ks or half marathons.
The After Dark Tour kicks off in Sydney on April 12 and wraps up in Mexico City on June 21. Nike invites women worldwide to join this ultimate girls’ weekend, where they can experience the thrill of racing, connect with fellow runners, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
