For the eleventh time, the Rosneft team participated in the Moscow Marathon, showcasing their commitment to promoting sports and healthy lifestyles. A total of 177 employees joined the event, taking on the challenging 42.2km marathon and 10km individual race. This participation aligns with Rosneft’s dedication to supporting mass, professional, and youth sports initiatives.

The Moscow Marathon, a prestigious event in Russia, attracts participants from various industries and running communities. This year, over 40,000 athletes from Russia and neighboring countries registered for the marathon. The race featured a 10km event where many Rosneft employees achieved personal milestones, setting new records.
On the marathon day, Rosneft athletes excelled in both individual and relay races. The Rosneft relay team, comprising amateur athletes, secured an impressive 5th place out of 129 teams with a remarkable time of 2:25:10 and an average pace of 3 minutes 26 seconds. Their performance surpassed the previous year’s result by a notable margin.
As a regular participant in the Moscow Marathon corporate race, Rosneft consistently demonstrates high levels of sporting prowess. The team’s achievements in the marathon have consistently placed them among the top performers in the event’s history, showcasing their dedication to athletic excellence.
In addition to the Moscow Marathon, Rosneft athletes and their families actively engage in the Energy of Life national corporate run. This year’s competition included stages in Moscow, Samara, Tyumen, and Krasnodar, culminating in a successful event on October 12th. The Krasnodar leg attracted around 300 participants who competed in various distances according to GTO standards.
The Energy of Life programme, spearheaded by Rosneft, aims to foster a mass sports movement within the company, promoting physical activity and employee well-being. Through extensive information campaigns and organizational efforts, Rosneft encourages over 106,000 employees to participate in sports and leisure activities, fostering a culture of health and fitness within the organization.
The winners of the Energy of Life competition were recognized and awarded by distinguished sports figures, adding to the event’s significance and motivating participants to continue their pursuit of physical fitness.
